Airstreams were born in California in the 1930s, created by Wally Byam. What began as a hobby - building travel trailers for family and friends - soon turned into a movement. As demand for the trailer lifestyle took off, Wally spotted an opportunity, and the Airstream as we know it was born. Tucked away at the bottom of our garden, our quirky 32ft 1976 Airstream is wrapped in laurel hedging with its own private gate, right on the edge of a charming village. Thoughtfully restored and fully equipped, it’s the perfect glamping getaway in Devon. Inside, you’ll find a well-stocked kitchen, compact bathroom (towels provided), and a cosy bedroom (bedding included), along with little extras to make your stay extra special.

Step outside to a fully decked area with breathtaking valley views and the chance to spot local wildlife—deer herds and birds of prey are regular visitors. The outdoor space features a fire pit, comfy seating, a gas BBQ for al fresco cooking, and even a private outdoor bathing area.

Nestled in the corner of the deck is our stunning wood-fired Hikki hot tub—perfect for two. Whether you’re stargazing under clear Devon skies or soaking in the peaceful natural surroundings, it’s the ultimate way to relax and unwind at Airstream Retreat.
